Torsten Schermer
Managing Director, SCHOLPP Engineering Suzhou, China, Shanghai
Torsten Schermer was born on March 8, 1967, in Eltville, Germany. After completing an apprenticeship in metal-working at Didier Werke AG, he studied engineering with business, and subsequently, applied mechanics. During his studies, Schermer worked as a mechanic at Mayer AG, a manufacturer of industrial painting and feeder systems. Between 1994 and 1996, he was a member of their field staff, later becoming a service engineer. He completed his degree in engineering with business studies in 1997. From 1998, Schermer held various positions in the field, including technical, commercial and project-management tasks, and project management. In 2001, he joined SCHOLPP Montage GmbH in Dietzenbach as a project leader. In 2005, he became Senior Project Manager and Equipment Manager at the SCHOLPP Engineering Suzhou sales office in Shanghai. Since July 2007, Torsten Schermer has been Managing Director of the Shanghai subsidiary.

Steven Chen
General Manager, Scholpp China
Steven Chen was born in 1974 in Sichuan Province, China.Since Steven Chen completed his education in China University of Mining and Technology and get the certificate of Mechanical Design of Manufacturing in 1998, he joined in Jiangsu Jieda Motorcycle Engine Factory as Technical Design Engineer.In 2001, Steven Chen joined in Shanghai Shinhai Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. in Minhang/Shanghai as Project Engineer.Between 2003 and 2006, he worked as Technical Engineer in Cavotec (Shanghai) Power Supply and Crane Technology Co., Ltd. in Xinzhuang Industry Zoon of Minhang/Shanghai. And almost at the same time, he got the Master of Engineering Course from College of Micro Electrical of Shanghai Jiaotong University.Since 2006, Steven Chen serviced in Scholpp China as Project Manager. Then in 2008, he was promoted to Project Director. And in 2010, Steven Chen became the General Manager of Scholpp China.

Uwe Matthes
Site Manager, Scholpp China
Uwe Matthes was born in 1960 in Rostock, Germany.Since Uwe Matthes completed his basic education in 1976, he participated in a 3-year maintenance technician education and obtained the corresponding certificate. After 3 years military service, Uwe Matthes entered Thuringia Sonneberg as maintenance technician. And after 6 years, he was promoted to Maintenance Supervisor.In 1991, Uwe Matthes entered Firma Trostdorf in Coburg as Supervisor for Installation of steel constructions.Between 1997 and 2001, he worked as Filter Supervisor and Quality Supervisor in Firma Brose in Coburg. And since 2001, he promoted to Supervisor for machine installation and assembly worldwide.Since 2005, Uwe Matthes serviced in Scholpp Germany as Supervisor. Then in 2007, he became a member of Scholpp China as Site Manager.
