Setting standards¡ª¡ªtogether

SCHOLPP plays an active role in defining the parameters of our industry

Companies who are proud of their past, but firmly focused on the future, thrive on the regular exchange of ideas with others. And many things are easier to accomplish through collaboration. That is the reason why SCHOLPP is an active member of many industry associations. We wish to achieve a number of objectives, such as high standards of training and safety, consensus on business legislation, and an enhanced image for our industry. For example, we are currently working to establish an officially recognised training programme and qualification for crane operators in Germany.

SCHOLPP is an active member of the following organisations:

SC&RA
Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association
This international organisation was established 1948. Today, it has 1,100 members in 43 countries. Its purpose is to make the transportation and installation of heavy and oversized equipment safer. SCHOLPP has twice received the prestigious Job of the Year award: in 2001, in the category Rigging worth over $750,000 for work performed on one of the world's largest metal presses (Weber Metals, USA), and in 2004, for the simultaneous deployment of three cranes (DaimlerChrysler).

BSK
Bundesfachgruppe Schwertransport und Kranarbeiten
(German Association of Heavy Hauling
                                                             and Crane Providers)
The BSK provides specialist training, and defines standard industry-wide terms and conditions of business and insurance. It also plays an active part in drafting relevant amendments to Germany¡¯s Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) and Regulations Authorising the Use of Vehicles for Road Traffic (StVZO), which govern the licensing and registration of vehicles. The BSK also contributes to the definition of other regulations and policies with a bearing on our industry.

SEMI
Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International
SEMI is the world¡¯s leading semiconductor industry organisation. It collects market data, sets industry standards, and organises trade fairs and other events. SCHOLPP has become a member in order to contribute our experience on transporting and installing equipment in cleanroom environments.

SRRT
Schweizer Gesellschaft für Reinraumtechnik
(Swiss Society for Cleanroom Technology)
The Swiss Society for Cleanroom Technology has been addressing the challenges of cleanroom environments since 1971. It is an active member of international standards committees. In coordination with Germany¡¯s Verband Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI, Association of German Engineers), it represents the interests of cleanroom users in southern Germany.

Silicon Saxony e.V.
Das Halbleiternetzwerk in Sachsen
(Silicon Saxony, The Technology Network at the Heart of Europe)
This association represents the state of Saxony¡¯s semiconductor industry, helping members to network and exchange experience. With its Cleanroom Move-In competence centre in Saxony, SCHOLPP has a particularly important site in the region.

In complex market environments, certification helps customers make the right choices. At SCHOLPP, we believe that end-to-end quality management is a must. For us, certification is only the beginning: we have expectations of ourselves that far exceed base-level requirements. The SCHOLPP Group is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. In Cologne and Ettlingen, SCHOLPP has also established a safety, health, and environmental management system based on SCC criteria. Our facilities in Stuttgart, Frankfurt, and Chemnitz have been certified in accordance with Germany¡¯s Water Management and Conservation Act (WHG).
